- Acceptance of Terms
By inviting Sheapgamer News Reporter (“the Bot”) to your Discord server or using its features, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Bot.
- Usage License
The Bot is provided free of charge for the purpose of delivering RSS news feeds and YouTube updates to your Discord server. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Bot in accordance with these terms.
- Limitations
The Bot is provided “as is” without any warranties. We do not guarantee 100% uptime or that the news feeds will always be delivered instantly. We are not liable for any damages or data loss resulting from the use of the Bot.
- User Conduct
You agree not to:
Use the Bot for any illegal purposes.
Attempt to exploit, reverse engineer, or abuse the Bot’s infrastructure.
Spam the Bot with excessive commands.
- Termination
We reserve the right to block the Bot from specific servers or terminate the service at any time without prior notice if these Terms are violated.

Privacy Policy

We respect your privacy. This policy explains what data Sheapgamer News Reporter collects and how it is used.
- What Data We Collect
We collect the minimum amount of data necessary for the Bot to function:
Server ID (Guild ID): To identify your Discord server.
Channel ID: To know which specific channel you have configured (via !subscribe_sheapgamer) to receive news updates.
RSS/YouTube State: We track the ID of the last news item sent to prevent duplicate posts. This is technical data and not linked to specific users.
We do NOT collect:
User messages (The Bot listens for commands but does not store your conversation history).
Personal user information (User IDs, usernames, or avatars).
- How We Use Data
The collected data is used solely for:
Routing RSS and YouTube updates to the correct channel in your server.
Maintaining the Bot’s configuration settings.
- Data Storage
Your data (Server ID and Channel ID) is stored securely on our hosting infrastructure. We do not sell, trade, or share your data with third parties.
- Data Deletion
You can remove your data from our system at any time by:
Running the command: !unsentnews in your server (this removes the subscription immediately).
Kicking the Bot: If the Bot is removed from your server, you can request manual data deletion by contacting us.
- Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the Bot constitutes acceptance of any changes.
