อ้างอิงจากประกาศที่ทาง Valve ได้ส่งให้กับทาง Developer ค่ายเกมต่างๆ ได้ส่งรายการลดราคาของเทศกาลนี้ ซึ่งหลุดมาใน Reddit ก็เป็นที่แน่นอนแล้วว่า ปีนี้ Halloween Sale 2014 จะมีขึ้นในวันที่ 30 ต.ค. – 3 พ.ย.(ถ้าเป็นเวลาในประเทศไทยก็เที่ยงคืนก่อนวันที่ 31 ต.ค.) โดยเทศกาลนี้จะรวมดีลลดราคาเกมแนวผีๆ แนวสยองขวัญ หรือแนวซอมบี้ทั้งหลายแหล่
ส่วนอันนี้เป็นโพย Halloween Sale 2013 หรือเมื่อปีที่แล้ว เกมที่เอามาลดราคาปีนี้พวกเกมเก่าๆก็คงไม่ต่างจากโพยนี้เท่าไหร่นัก แต่ก็คงจะราคาถูกกว่าปีที่แล้วเยอะอยู่เพราะราคาเกมในสตีมตอนนี้เป็นราคาโซนไทยซะส่วนใหญ่แล้ว
